North Bend and those foothill valleys are the only places that warm. Most areas are sitting around 58-64.

Well I heard from you that NB will stay socked in all day on the 4th.   Very sad about that.

ECMWF disagrees though.

Lots of comfortable weather still showing up on the 12z runs. No sign of any heatwaves at all through July 12th on the euro gem or gfs. Kind of makes sense given the multiple rounds of warmth we had in June.

What a relief. Sitting at 69 in juniper canyon right now. A few high cirrus moving in overhead. Not expecting a single drop here tho we need it.

IAD and BWI both maxed out at 97.

Don't worry, I'm rooting for you today! But slight underperformance for official stations yesterday.

Welp, didn’t take long today. 😕 And tonight probably won’t get out of the mid/upper 80s.

I’ll never trust a niño summer again. What the hell.

Don’t think there will be much or any rain south of Seattle by the way the models look…so far it’s been kind of back and forth on some rain maybe next week or weekend.

Absolutely perfect evening to watch the US game. 70 at the start and fell into the mid 60s by the end. It wasn’t too hot sitting in the sun.

Also cool to watch the enthusiasm grow. There were probably 100 people or so at the first game and probably 5-600 at this one. They added an extra screen, but pretty much reached max capacity.

O the snow, the beautiful snow!
Filling the sky and the earth below!
Over the house-tops, over the street,
Over the heads of the people you meet,
Dancing, Flirting, Skimming along.
Beautiful snow! it can do nothing wrong.

That’s impressive for your location, dude.

Currently 104/77 w/ a heat index of 121 on my progressional grade sensor. Hottest temp I’ve recorded since July 2012. Missing out on all the recent rains is definitely exacerbating things.

Thunderstorms have severely underperformed the last few years here. Not a cloud in the sky today. I'm not expecting much, but usually these really hot days do produce vs the SPC having us in a risk for 60s and such.

Looks like OLM's streak may have ended this afternoon at around 180 hours. As mentioned previously, deepest in the warm season since 1999.
