North Bend and those foothill valleys are the only places that warm. Most areas are sitting around 58-64.

Well I heard from you that NB will stay socked in all day on the 4th.   Very sad about that.

Lots of comfortable weather still showing up on the 12z runs. No sign of any heatwaves at all through July 12th on the euro gem or gfs. Kind of makes sense given the multiple rounds of warmth we had in June.

Been busy the past few days. In central Alberta for our annual family reunion. Temps in the upper 60s. Has been record rainfall the past month, but weather will mostly cooperate. Well, at least We escaped the coastal gloom. 
 

The Rockies were mostly socked in. Got our pics at the Alberta/Bc border. The other two kids were in my folks’ RV.

Also cool to watch the enthusiasm grow. There were probably 100 people or so at the first game and probably 5-600 at this one. They added an extra screen, but pretty much reached max capacity.

That’s impressive for your location, dude.

Currently 104/77 w/ a heat index of 121 on my progressional grade sensor. Hottest temp I’ve recorded since July 2012. Missing out on all the recent rains is definitely exacerbating things.

12z EPS actually isn't that warm in Seattle through the 1st half of July. I thought Jul-Sept would be the highest anomalies in Sea and Portland

Thunderstorms have severely underperformed the last few years here. Not a cloud in the sky today. I'm not expecting much, but usually these really hot days do produce vs the SPC having us in a risk for 60s and such.

Looks like OLM's streak may have ended this afternoon at around 180 hours. As mentioned previously, deepest in the warm season since 1999.
