Will it pick up the slack in terms of 90F burgers and be its typical smoky self?

WSU also needs to figure out how to possibly play games in Seattle with the air quality issues in central and eastern Washington being at levels that are dangerous to be inhaling at that PPM so that'll be something to watch at the end of the month into early Sept.

Also at the end of this month there will be college football that counts. Not much longer to go cuz the Mariners and Rangers are clearly both going down the shitter.

August 4th is on average my hottest day of the year. The average high over the last 15 years is 88 degrees. I've hit 90+ on that day about half of the time, and this year looks no different. Forecast for that day is low to mid 90s.

Yesterday was the 14th day of the year above 85 IMBY…quite a bit but still has been balanced out a bit. This was the first July since 2016 to average below normal at SEA 🎉

Actually raining decently here but I’d guess by the time early afternoon rolls around the sun will be out and you won’t even be able to tell it rained. Nice to enjoy for a bit anyways.

We had one round fizzle before it got here. This one seems to be holding together better.

Sun is supposed to come out later today but not sure now because of the CZ starting up… those things can stick around long after everyone else clears out

Also below normal at OLM, and BLI's coolest July since 2012.

O the snow, the beautiful snow!
Filling the sky and the earth below!
Over the house-tops, over the street,
Over the heads of the people you meet,
Dancing, Flirting, Skimming along.
Beautiful snow! it can do nothing wrong.

Mild and increasingly breezy here south of Anatone. Just enough smoke to dim the sun and dry the throat. Lots of noise... We have a squirrel getting defensive over his food, a bird war between a couple swallows and a blue Jay, and the howling of the wind in the trees. More activity than I thought there would be in a forest bordering a desert.

Fifth coldest Dec/Jan combo on record at PDX, the only years that beat it were 48-49, 49-50, 68-69, and 78-79. And even 68-69 was within a degree.

I don't think some people on here appreciate just how abnormal that winter actually was.
