12Z EPS on the warm train... quite a shift.   Not very consistent.

Here is the 8-15 day period.   I think Jesse warned Jim about this.

So next weekend not this upcoming one might be nice then. Will have to get outside and enjoy if that’s the case.

I'm beginning to wonder if this is the driest it's ever been here in the last 100 years or more. 2018 and 2019 back to back driest years at PDX. Now this year.

Changing font might help with that. Seems like my signature has less spacing between lines.

77/48 day here so far. May add another degree or two in the next hour.

Feels just about like an average summer afternoon out there, aside from the low sun angle

That's a weird construct with the temperature being high despite low sun angles. I wonder what's causing it.

Upper level ridging.

The sun angles and shorter days do play a role. We would be seeing highs in the low 90s with this airmass a month and a half ago. And milder lows/no fog.

I mowed some today and will finish tomorrow.  The grass is growing quite fast and now won't dry out much.  Me not like.

ECMWF and EPS say you will have more chances next week and beyond to mow when its not raining.

Wow they just introduced the new Chief Meteorologist for Q13, I see an increase in the viewership of the weather segment.

Trying to make the best of this weather, got a nice hike on Mt. Adams in on Sunday. Up Stagman Ridge to Horseshoe meadows then down to Lookingglass Lake. Weather was mild but the fall colors were quite nice.

Nice pics. Looks like all the vegetation is clean and ready for a nice thick layer of snow.

82/48 HIO

Why did you get a downvote? All you did was post the temps for Hillsboro. Hillsboro Envy?

I''m actually glad to know that.  Our high was 83F so we were one higher then HIO and our low was 46F and no sun till noonish.

How much different is HIO then PDX's weather?

HIO is usually hotter during the day (in the warm season) and colder during the night than PDX.

HIO also gets less rain than PDX in NW flow because of the coast range, but I think they get slightly more in SW flow.

Not quite sure why I got downvoted.

I’ll ask yet again. Is there a way to get back to where you last read? I hate having to backtrack a few pages every time I check this forum. Winter is coming and I’d like it to go back to how it used to be in that aspect. Fred?
