12Z EPS does not look like the ECMWF.    It seems like the ECMWF teases retrogression once in awhile but then the next run reverts back.    That will probably be the case again as the EPS is not in agreement.

Wouldn’t surprise me if we don’t break out today. We broke out by 12:30 yesterday so will be cooler than yesterday even if we do break out.

Really bizarre pattern either way. Pacific wants to go +PNA/+TNH but the Atlantic is solidly -NAO. Not a cooperative couple.

After 10 days in a row with rain here... we have now had 11 dry days in a row and 10 out of the last 11 days have been sunny here.   The immediate Puget Sound area has been more gloomy than here... and now the rain is about to return.

The clouds burned off about 11am then returned about 3pm.  By about 4 there were low clouds/fog obscuring Toad Lake/Squalicum Mountain (which is just to my east).  Looks like we topped out at 64.

An all-day fog, 49/61. I believe 2013 is the last year there were so many inversions in October.

Low clouds/fog never lifted here. Had a high of 57. 
got lots done though...Mowed (used the mower to blow leaves at the same time) blew off the roof, cleaned the gutters, and did a bunch of veggie garden harvesting. Let the rains begin.

The fog stuck around here today, but yesterday afternoon was nice. I’m not minding it much; it’s been seven years since the last significant October inversion.
