Thanks for this. Nice looking run.

Hopefully all the models follow the GEM 💎 like they usually do when it’s warmer than all the others.

-13 is my coldest when in Moses Lake many years ago. The -2 at my house in Arlington in 2008 seemed way colder.

Elevation 580’ Location a few miles east of I-5 on the Snohomish Co side of the Snohomish/Skagit border. I love snow/cold AND sun/warmth!

-20°F for me. In New Mexico, believe it or not (the higher elevations of the Southwest  get cold in the winter). But the -15°F with gale force winds felt far colder.

It's called clown range for a reason.

It’s a stupidly warm 59°F at KBLI presently. Quite the contrast to last year! Date for first frost averages mid-October here. If that cooling trend in the long range verifies, it probably won’t get here super late this year.

Pre-frontal warmth in southerly flow happens all the time... even in cold years.  Its not an indication of anything.

56F and foggy-ish. A/C comes out of the window today. I feel like the sun angle won't be high enough to cook the brick foundation too much after this couple of days of rain then going back to dry down this way.

NWS Spokane posted just now that in 2019 on this day, the earliest 3" or greater snowfall occurred in their area.

If you want to know my earliest 3 inch snow I've experienced here, it was 11/25/2015 (3.5") or 11/26/2019 (4.0").

Well there was 8+ inches on 11/22/2010 but that was a week before I officially moved here.

I was supposed to start a 2 year job assignment in Spokane this fall. 2 weeks on 1 week off. I was really looking forward to it. COVID had other plans. Maybe next year. Even being up there last November was nice, real winters they have.
