Sorry guys I ended up getting chased around the outside of the building at work by a whacked out homeless guy on drugs...That was a first! I was mostly worried about the snot coming out of his nose as he is screaming that he was going to kill me and everyone in the building for “abducting his cat and then murdering it” I could almost see the COVID flowing from his mouth. Anyway he got tased by the cops and hauled away. That really cut into my forum time!

So I might see some snow...How about that!!

Michael Myers?!?  That just Crazy! Glad you were able to stay ahead of him

Gfs has been pretty consistent with the runs in the last 24 hours. Not joining the cold train as much as the other models still. :(

Even the GFS solution would be pretty chilly.

Either way a record warm October is being taken off the table, so that’s always nice.

Elevation 580’ Location a few miles east of I-5 on the Snohomish Co side of the Snohomish/Skagit border. I love snow/cold AND sun/warmth!

No worries, mother nature might just be saving the cold anomalies until they're useful to us this time instead of one of the precious few coming through when we can't get any snow.

Yeah, no changes yet with the GFS.

00z ECMWF in 1 hour 29 minutes

As far as the small details, I am guessing that the GFS is trending towards the Euro and Canadian.  I say that because the Spokane AFD mentioned that the Euro and Canadian have the surface low a bit further north than the GFS, and have trended their forecast for slightly less snow for Spokane but more for the Cascades, which is what the Euro and Canadian have been showing.

So the 0Z run of the GFS and the NAM have also shown more snow for the Cascades than previous runs, more in line with the Canadian and Euro.  May not be significant differences in the bigger details, but could make a bigger difference for "my backyard".
