I need to take down my weather station and look it over. It no longer reads the light index and the temp stops reading from dusk to dawn. I think the battery might be done, it also has a solar cell on it so I think it’s only transmitting when light hits the cell. I felt naked and afraid all evening and night without my station working! I put it up the night before the winter madness began in early February 2019 and has been trouble free until now so I’m hoping it’s just the battery. 3 Quote Elevation 580’ Location a few miles east of I-5 on the Snohomish Co side of the Snohomish/Skagit border. Yes, and the total precip anomalies go from below normal to above normal at least for Washington and BC by the end of the run. Not so much for Oregon, but not totally dry either. Of course the placement isn't that reliable in that range, but to go from below to above normal for week 2 must mean a lot of rain. And at least normal temps toward the end of the run. And here is the 300hpa wind map. 1

It seems like we both share a love of outdoors and nature in conjunction with the weather which I always really appreciate. You post some great pics. You are also very balanced in your preferences, and seem capable of enjoying both rain and sun. You don't really complain about either too much no matter how much we have seen one more than the other in the short term, which is something that is so nice to see for a change. That kind of sentiment is very welcome here, a breath of fresh air so to speak. Thank you as well. I really do appreciate all your outdoor/weather info as well. I’ve really learned a lot...pretty much everything I know about PNW climate and weather info from you and everyone on here the last couple years. If so, you should be able to get the battery health through your station webpage. And yes, it has a solar panel to extend the life of the AA batteries. I usually replace my batteries every summer as a "PM" item, but I guess it ultimately depends on how easy it is to access your station. Also, I use Energizer ultimate lithium batteries, which are supposed to hold up better in the winter. 1 Quote Britton Rd Bellingham Weather Station: https://www.wunderground.com/dashboard/pws/KWABELLI103?cm_ven=localwx_pwsdash
