The low DP coupled with the wind quickly becoming calm is causing the temps here to plummet. As TWL mentioned, it is pretty much at freezing already. No frost here because everything is bone dry. Leaves that were juicy just a couple of days ago are now crunchier than a potato chip. You got the benefit of the Fraser outflow, but were sheltered from the winds so your mins dropped big time. I still don't get why the NWS was so conservative with low temps in the North Interior and the East Puget Sound Lowlands for tonight. Many places are already at forecast mins. It’s really prominent on the east side where during radiational cooling episodes in mid winter the temp will absolutely plummet between about 4pm and 8pm and then stagnate for several hours.
