snow_wizard
Big improvement on the EPS vs the 12z. It shows the cold bottoming out at day 11. Looking like two significant cold snaps in the late Oct / early Nov period has a decent chance of happening. As Justin pointed out earlier the only time it has happened in the period of record was 1919. Strangely early November cold waves are exceedingly rare (except for October cold carrying over) compared to late October ones. I have never understood that. At any rate it appears this has a great chance of being another Fraser outflow event. Have to love the precedent being set. 1 Quote Death To Warm Anomalies!
