Here's the snow thus far

Sorry guys I ended up getting chased around the outside of the building at work by a whacked out homeless guy on drugs...That was a first! I was mostly worried about the snot coming out of his nose as

-13 is my coldest when in Moses Lake many years ago. The -2 at my house in Arlington in 2008 seemed way colder.

-20°F for me. In New Mexico, believe it or not (the higher elevations of the Southwest  get cold in the winter). But the -15°F with gale force winds felt far colder.

It's called clown range for a reason.

It’s a stupidly warm 59°F at KBLI presently. Quite the contrast to last year! Date for first frost averages mid-October here. If that cooling trend in the long range verifies, it probably won’t get here super late this year.

Pre-frontal warmth in southerly flow happens all the time... even in cold years.  Its not an indication of anything.

Ever been to the Brown’s Point Lighthouse? We were picking up some friends from Sea-Tac a few weeks ago and checked it out before heading home. Nice area. Saw Dash Point state park too.

56F and foggy-ish. A/C comes out of the window today. I feel like the sun angle won't be high enough to cook the brick foundation too much after this couple of days of rain then going back to dry down this way.

I bet the new average snowfall numbers (1991-2020) for November and March are switched around at my place. It used to be 4" for Nov and 2.5" for March. Yet according to my notes I have seen more 3-6" inch snow days in March and a far higher number of days which I observe snow falling, which includes wet snow.

Unless November has plans to come back as one of the major contributing winter months again but I'm doubting that.

Euro seems to keep the ridging further offshore compared to the GFS. At least through day 7.

Less impressive shot of cool air the middle part of next week compared to yesterday’s 12z though.
