Dave
I will cherish each and every nice day (sunny & dry) throughout the rest of Oct and early Nov if there's anything left. This is a La Nina. We might not see such conditions for the next 5+ months. The cold and damp will be here before we know it. Even mountain snow will almost certainly melt out this early in the year. Have some patience. I'll be aboard the cold train along with everyone else. 1 1 1

snow_wizard
I'm just about a believer on this now. The 6z GFS and its ensemble were flat out cold and the EPS continues to trend colder. It looked like at least half of the GFS ensemble members dropped to -4 or below on the 850s. I see the CFS is also showing it which is a really good sign. It is actually pretty good when it shows cold shots like this in the shorter range. 1 1 1 1 1 Quote Death To Warm Anomalies!
