12z RGEM showing signs of another possible brief period of LES for SE WI/NE IL early on Thursday morning.  This model really does well so I would start paying attention to this tonight/tomorrow.  If that wave can track a little farther SW we can have another decent LES event.

My family in Evanston says they ended up with close to a foot last night.

Take it with a grain of salt though as I don't know how carefully they measured.

State Police in northern Lake County, IN are asking no one to go out until this LES band lifts out. Interstates have been gridlocks all day.

High resolution models are bringing that same LES band westwards tomorrow!

..been there, done that! (months ago now)  :P   Massive LES plumes have been all the rage this season, haven't they? Now if we can keep the lake from going into solid state territory, more could score!

Not sure Tom. Been out of the loop on the runs since this morning.

Today's snow was nothing special. Maybe a half inch. Still can see patches of grass.

0.4" here today. Wind has been constant enough to keep patches of grass visible. Some drifting occurring, but it's manageable.
