May has turned out to be pretty normal weather wise here in the Plains.  Temperatures were pretty wild, with large swings from week to week.  We also saw a couple of decent severe weather outbreaks, with several tornadoes.

Looking ahead to June, it appears the models are picking up on a possible severe weather outbreak for the first few days of the month.  June 2nd appears to be the biggest day, with Nebraska taking the brunt of the storms.  Latest GFS has over 3 inches of rain!  Let's hope this ends up happening!

Lot of time for this to change.  Thoughts?
