NWS KC Thru the first 24 days of this month...Nov 2020 stands as the 10th warmest on the 133-year record for KC. It has been 6.6 degrees above normal. With a mean temperature of 45.3 Grand Rapids is on track for one of the warmest Novembers in recorded history. At this time GR is in the 5th spot. It was a mild overnight and the official low at GRR was 41 and here at my house it was 42. and that 42 is the current temperature both here and out at the airport. Tom Posted November 28, 2020 Author Report Share Posted November 28, 2020 The cold core ULL that tracked overhead yesterday produced one of the coldest day time high temps in PHX of the season (66F). It was a great day to spend some time in the jacuzzi and enjoy some vitamin D. Prob do the same thing again today and enjoy some R&R. BTW, we do have the furnace on here as it does get cold enough at night to flip it on. The next system looks to miss west Michigan to the east. So while we stay mostly snow free areas to our east could see a few inches of snow fall from this system. At this time it is clear and 25 here. With 3 more days to go the mean at Grand Rapids for this November is now at 45. That is a departure of +4.3° At this time Grand Rapids is on track to have its 5th warmest November of record. There will be snow on the east side of the state but not here. At this time the clouds have moved and the current temperature here at my house is now at 47. The official high for today looks to be 50 so another well above average day. That 50 will be a tie for the 18th warmest November 29 in Grand Rapids recorded history. But there are reports of snow on the ground to the east at Lansing and on radar there is either snow or rain over Lake Michigan heading south. At this time it is cloudy and rather windy with a temperature of 33. As of this morning Grand Rapids has only reported 0.4" of total snow fall for this season.
