Gradient Keeper
My thoughts reviewing 12z runs. It's interesting how quickly the block reorganizes. It wouldn't take much to see things turn much colder and not just chilly onshore/northerly flow, but backdoor cold. Mainly amplification. Ya gotta believe! snow_wizard
It's really strange here when the easterly pressure gradient is more ESE we get into some pretty serious inversions and when it's ENE it gets very windy with major down slope warming. Today it's ESE so it's been pretty chilly here compared to many areas. Looking at a 54 / 32 day so far. Probably looking at another freeze tonight with this gradient angle.
