Might not see 60’s until our annual January heatwave! Max of 60°F at KBLI today. I expect at least one 60+ midwinter heat wave. It’s fairly easy for Bellingham to get them during periods of strong southerly flow, thanks to downsloping off the Chuckanut Mountains. Every place I’ve moved to, the weather has featured some things I expected and some things that were surprises. I expected the easier access to Fraser outflow that I get, but the midwinter heat waves were a surprise. 2 1 Quote It's called clown range for a reason.
