I don't think too many Puget Sound area people will be seeing flakes today, Jim.

I just meant like what happed the other day.  This is a pretty similar situation.  Resident cold airmass and evaporative cooling aided by the perfect amount of offshore flow and trapped cold air over Central WA.  Kitsap Peninsula and places north of Seattle would be the most likely.  People are making way more of this than is warranted by what I said.

It's definitely not as cold of a low level airmass as last week and it's quickly going to be warming aloft this evening. Temps should bottom out around 39-40 in the coldest locations this evening.

Yup, it might still be snowy up in the Washington Cascades but not down here, plus it's going to get way warmer up there over the next couple of days.

Today ended up pretty chilly. Just 46/40 here so far. 

Southerlies could kick in and push things toward 50 by the late evening, though. Meanwhile the mountains are getting pwned today.

I saw two of them in '16-'17. lol

Which makes me question if snow is always a 10:1 ratio on precip. I'm not sure how 29.50" snow goes into 1.5". 

In my area at least I think February 2019 was a little drier than normal, but of course very snowy.  Somewhere around 40 inches fell.  But I do remember that, because it was so cold, we had high qpr ratios.

December 2008 WAS my driest December (3.07") ever...along with 21.5" of snow, my snowiest month ever.

2013 is now my driest December at 2.02" but it was also my 2nd coolest.
