I am looking forward to the quieter period ahead... less rain and periods of offshore flow.     The long Thanksgiving weekend is looking lovely at this point.

It's been pretty depressing here and moderately wet so I will gladly welcome some drier weather for once.

******* good job trying to keep things as divisive as possible mate.

I am merely remarking that it has been very wet and depressing where I live, so I would also like a change to drier and *gasp*, sunnier weather. Other people are allowed to cheer for weather you don't like. :)

Am I the only one here who doesn’t feel that it’s been all that wet? We are a bit above normal for Nov so far but we will finish below normal if the models have their way.

Kinda agree with Tiger. Yes it has been wet but we have had a lot of sun breaks and hasn't been soul crushing wet and dark yet

Starting today 10 years ago was an impressive stretch of snowfall for two weeks. 24" up to 12/03, at the time when I moved here I was thinking sheesh we get blasted on turkey day like that? Only to realize nope, that's January like weather.

This is the kind of post you can expect if you express any opinion about looking forward to some drier and sunnier weather.   Extreme strawman crap.

Side note... I am still looking forward to some drier and sunnier weather.

Friday is my office day, so I had to muck my way in to Salem this morning. Very icy on Silver Falls Hwy into Silverton, it rained just after sunset last night and then cleared out. One corner had 3 cars off the road in the ditch.

I like cold, dry, sunny days. Those low sun angles make these kinds of days outright beautiful, and its better if they happen when there are still some leaves on the trees.

I like all weather except for warm front drizzle that just goes on and on and on. And split flow since it seems like when it gets established it takes many weeks to break the pattern...And then our winter is half over.

Elevation 580’ Location a few miles east of I-5 on the Snohomish Co side of the Snohomish/Skagit border. I love snow/cold AND sun/warmth!

I still have part of my front yard I need to mow in preparation for snowfall.  I like it to have a nice smooth surface to accumulate on.  We need a break for that.

Euro looks wet next weekend. That’s a change from last nights run. Decently wet on this run to finish the month for western WA and South BC.

Still a lot of uncertainty with those short waves over the next 10 days.  It does appear things will come to a grinding halt by the end of the month though.

I like the GFS better.  It's cleaner and would provide better inversions.

A good dose of garbage and disrespect too sadly. The good thing is most people only go to a handful of locations that are well advertised on social media. It's not very hard to still find remote spots if you know where to look. We are very fortunate to have millions of acres of public land in Oregon and Washington.

Talking to a buddy of mine this morning and he said was out with his young son deer hunting recently and said there were tons of people out busting trails not wearing any orange.  Said one time they had a big stand of bush/smallish tree start shaking like crazy, like maybe a buck rubbing on it.  His son started to get excited but my friend reminded him “you MUST verify your target”. Minute or so later a couple of hikers busted through, not wearing any orange.  D**n good lesson for his son, but could have had a bad outcome with a less disciplined hunter.

He said he was 7 miles from the road, and far from any trails, and was amazed to come across anyone else.  He’s honestly shocked there haven’t been any accidental shootings out there.
