However Mr Snowman had almost bent all the way over before the slow bleed of cold air arrived. I complained a lot that winter but at the end of the day it was fun to track so much every week and it did snow...Just not the N/S stuff that does so much better up around my area. You didn’t have to go Much farther north to get to the really good stuff. BC was dumped on pretty regularly that winter. Vancouver had “salt wars” as there was none to be found. We had almost 60” here that season

Meatyorologist
While the goods are coming later on this winter, it still is annoying to see constant warm anomalies all over the northern hemisphere. It's not universal, for instance eastern Siberia, northern Europe, northeastern Canada and the entirety of Greenland are below average, but the rest roughly 75% of the high latitude northern hemisphere are all above average, particularly western Canada and the Bering Strait. Northern OR Cascades forecast does not show snow levels going above 5000' while it's not dry. Probably going to get pretty hardpacky at the resorts, but I don't see much chance for high snow levels / mountain rain anytime soon.
