Nothing there looks like an arctic outbreak.  Maybe a slight cooling trend.  Highs in the mid 40's, lows in the 30's.  Pretty normal December weather.

Normal temps probably... but it looks unusually dry for the first half of December.

It is noteworthy however that the 00Z EPS showed a significant pattern change towards the end of the run... here is day 15.

Just saw that the 00Z EPS was discussed last night... that is a pretty big pattern change coming into sight now.

Dry, breezy and 48°F here. Seems a few degrees warmer than in most locations in the region. That, plus the southerly breeze, means I’m probably seeing the effects of downsloping off the Chuckanuts.

It's 49F here and I don't think I'm near any downsloping. Just a warm morning in the north sound.

12Z ECMWF shows the system Monday cutting off now and basically missing the Seattle area.

A little snow falling about noon on Wednesday in Bend. Roads got covered shortly after this.

Just an interesting change on this run.     But I am looking forward to some dry weather... its rained almost every day this month.     Its nice to see something different coming up.

I agree yesterday was day 15 in a row with measurable rainfall and the 22nd day with rainfall this month as well. Chances are we will get plenty more  wet weather the next few months with La Niña.

Its nice to get a break even after a normal November.    Its normally a wet month.    

Does not have to be record setting wet to look forward to some sun and dry weather.

Nice seeing those dry ridgy looking models for December. Hopefully things stay well enough mixed to prevent too much of an inversion. Think warm sunshine. Come on!

Hope it stays dry for the next couple decades so we can get some real vegetation changes around here. Some junipers and sagebrush would be nice.
