November 2020 Weather Observations for the PNW

Very comfortable out there; breezy and in the mid 60s. Feels like a cloudy August day.

Cherishing this before the gauntlet of chilly systems barge in from the NW!

Wow, crazy warm down south of here.

Definitely warm-ish here, but still looks very November-y. Good rainfall earlier in the day, and now overcast and breezy. Planes into SeaTac are bouncing around a bit.

How many gallons of gas do you keep on hand?

The generator has a 15 gallon tank that I always keep full and then I have 10 gallons of additional fuel. It will run on a tank of fuel for almost 30 hours or so. I replenished last weekend.
looks like the number without power has jumped in my area as well. It’s crazy windy right now!!

Set it and forget it...nice.
I have a little 2000 Watt portable generator to run my pump under the house.  Had it now for 7 years and really haven’t had a chance to put it to work.  Only has a gallon tank so unsure how long it will run under a load.  Some day I shall find out.  I run it once a month just to keep it exercised though.

Ya like Bend will get anywhere near that amount of rain.

Maybe swap Bend/Klamath Falls numbers and they look a little more believable. Even then, maybe more adjustments.

If there's any east side location that gets more rainfall than others, it's my place, seen it time and time again.
8.8" snowfall, probably not my place. The snow piles deeper in Bend than it does here, I can name 3 winters that has happened pretty recently.

69/26 here.

Mid-day was very pleasant, temperature is noticeably dropping as the sun goes down.

Everywhere from Sunriver down to Klamath on the 97 corridor does. The climate zone seems to change slightly once you get south of the 44th parallel.

I'm kind of intrigued by the pattern coming up.  The airmass never gets super cold or thicknesses super low, but the surface pressure gradients will have an Arctic outbreak look to them three different times in the Friday through Tuesday period.  A really pretty straight northerly gradient will set up during that period which often results in an overperformance of cold for the Puget Sound Basin.  Certainly nice for cold min temps.

Deer are sparring with each other in the yard, making quite a bit of noise ;)

Obviously if I tried to take video I'd scare them off. Back to music listening here :V
