47/35 today...45 with a DP of 19 currently.

I ended up with 45 / 28.  Areas that were exposed to wind gained a few degrees of warmth in exchange for lower dew points.  You should be golden for a freeze tonight.  This climate is bad enough in places like where I live.  I would hate being in an area that struggles to get freezing low temps in situations where you should get them due to water and wind exposure.

Most freezes I’ve had in a year was 49 in 2009...had 39 in 2019 and 34 in 2017 and 2011. I usually get 20-25 per year. I don’t get many at my location due to wind exposure and proximity to the sound. I’ve had just 15 this year.

Tacoma WA elevation 300’

Monthly rainfall-3.56”

Warm season rainfall-11.14”

Max temp-88

+80 highs-2

+85 highs-2

+90 highs-0

EUG's 5 min obs are still down. Last update was at 4:54 and it's 42F. Says we only got to 48F but the stations in Springfield hit 50F at around 3:30 so we continue our streak of failing to record a below-50F high for now.

I'm sorry you have to phrase it as a question.

Which awesome gameshow host left us today?

About an hour ago we ran up to Mt Vernon to grab some Taco Del Mar, it was 37 then at home and 47 in Mt Vernon...Never move there unless you like Seattle type winter heat!
Back home it’s currently 33 degrees.
Also I did the last mow of the year today...Going to convert the mower to a plow next weekend! And perhaps put up Christmas Lights!

45/35 today, peak wind gust at my house was 29.8mph.  Looks like the airport saw 44mph but I can't get the 5 min. obs. to come up, so there might be a better wind gust in there.

NWS calling for rain/snow tomorrow, so its a safe bet it will be all snow, and tons of it since I will be at work for the first time in about 20 weeks.

X-mas lights always go up before thanksgiving and come down whenever the hell ya feel like it. X-mas trees however must be taken down and disposed of no later than January 6th.

Yep!! This was mid January of 2020...Was so festive! I don’t take the lights down until the end of February or so...Even on wet 41 degree nights it helps to light the mood!

Heavy frost in the swamp this morning.

Gonna be another solid frost again tonight.

Just an amazing winter so far.  Beautiful sunny day today.  Planted all my daffodil bulbs and cut the grass again.

I got my lawn mowed last weekend.  I like to have it short for when the snow comes. It stopped growing almost entirely from the last cold snap.  This one will finish the job.

I couldn't get the back yard mowed because I don't have any more room in my yard waste bin.  12 tomato plants, leaves and grass stuffed in as best I could.  Hoping for a dry day somewhere in the next week to get the back cut nice and short.  Makes it look like more snow, if it falls from the sky and sticks to the ground.

Ask your neighbors if they have room in their bin! 😀

In North Vancouver they're going for above 200m (~650ft), although I imagine it will be a bit higher further south.

Thanks! Wondering if I might be able to see some flakes if I walk up to my neighbors place at 740’.
