Gradient Keeper
2:16 AM Pressure Gradients As I thought we may see, the PDX/TTD-DLS gradient is now exceeding the modeled peak of -8 to -10mb. How high will it go this morning? I'm thinking the peak will be just under -12mb. As for the wind, yeah. It is RAGING at my house near West Gresham. It has certainly reached what I qualify as an 'East Wind Event' and if it were to ramp up another notch or two, then an 'East Wind Storm', but we're not there yet. If you live east of I-205 it's going to be a noisy morning and probably wake up a lot of folks! As of 2 AM [Gorge/Gap Gradient] PDX-DLS: -10.9mb TTD-DLS: -10.1mb [Cross Cascade Gradient] PDX-YKM: -12.0mb PDX-MWH: -12.4mb PDX-GEG: -12.5 mb OTH-GEG: -16.8mb *Legend: PDX = Portland, DLS = The Dalles, TTD = Troutdale, YKM = Yakima, MWH = Moses Lake, GEG = Spokane, OTH = North Bend A -Negative value denotes easterly/northerly flow A +Positive value denotes westerly/onshore flow
