I want to apologize to anyone I have ever truly offended on here. And I don't just mean joking around giving a hard time to the regulars type offended, but personally offended to the level that they hold a true personal grudge against me to this day. I know I have a reputation here and it is by and large deserved, but I think making this small gesture is a good place to start. I don't expect a blank slate, but I would like to do what I can to alleviate some of the ugliness and toxicity felt around here sometimes.

I'm sorry.

When you wished my cantaloupes would rot on the vine this summer I was really hurt.  Apology accepted

Finally a bit of moderate rain. I appear to be getting a few more shadows compared to other seasons.

It's crazy what a GFS run and some boredom can do to an entire forum. I'm gone for 12 hours and I come back to accusations and apology letters.

It’s crazy to think how crazy this place must seem for someone who has no knowledge of the 10-15 years of history between some of us.

It goes way beyond a crappy GFS run ;)

I'm not trying to elevate myself above anyone here, including you. You are absolutely right that I have no idea about the history here.

But you must be able to extend a little bit of understanding that an outsider like me would be a tad confused as to why we can't just share our knowledge of weather, while sharing some healthy banter.

Though maybe I should just keep my mouth shut. I obviously have no say in this and your opinions, and perhaps my ideal view of this forum is a tad "utopianistic".

If you would rather watch snowfall from around here instead of the East, Leavenworth has a live streaming cam.  And it is snowing pretty hard now.  I have picked up a few inches since about 3PM, and it will probably snow all night.

The NWS is calling for less than in inch of snow for us this afternoon and overnight.  Surprised that they haven't upgraded that.

I think most people on here would prefer cold onshore flow to the utter garbage we’ve seen so far.

Gorgeous. We were last there over Valentines Day. Thinking back on it is like thinking of a different world, in the pre-Covid times.

We had a crazy band here before we flipped to ZR/sleet. Dropped 1” in 10mins. Painful to watch the carnage just 50 miles N/W.

I cant imagine one inch in ten minutes.  Would love to see something like that.  Most I have seen is about a rate of 2-3 inches per hour, we had that last year, but it was a relatively warm and wet snow, so not as nice as it sounds like.
