Timmy Supercell
I was close to having a white Xmas in 2017. 12/24/17 I had freezing rain and 12/26/17 a tiny bit of evening snow. A picture I took first thing in the morning 12/26/2017 shows a bare ground, though with a nice freeze. 2018/2019 were both White Christmas occurrences. I want our family to move so badly. I like you TWL, but I can all but guarantee you that 95% of the population of the utopia of Indiana would kill for Eugene's climate and scenery, and you would too after a short time there. I know you aren't exactly keen on Eugene's increasing summer temps. I'm just fine with it, however, as I don't mind some low humidity 90's. But try Indiana for a week. It can be more humid there than the gulf coast states. 80 degree dew points. 120+ heat indexes aren't that uncommon anymore. Brown, crusty snow with no hills or tall green trees also gets pretty old after about 2 hours. The lack of snow here is what makes the snowfall we get that much more enjoyable.

Sure it's special, but also agonizing when it feels like it's taking increasingly longer amounts of time between significant regional events. And the summers there would be hot and humid but the spring would bring excitement and thunderstorms. Is the snow there usually brown and crusty?
