somebody made a comment yesterday about posting pictures of a snowman.  Here ya go.  I didn't make it, credits to one of my neighbors....

Still sitting at 32, snow has picked up again.

So, now that we have this snow that we weren't supposed to get, what's supposed to happen tonight/tomorrow with temps?

Look at it this way: a week ago, there was no sign in the models this might happen. In fact, I recall posting something here that it might well snow in the lowlands before the month is out. I didn’t know this event was going to happen; I was just going on the generally poor model accuracy we’ve been experiencing.

Anyhow, that logic still holds: would not be surprised if another chance comes sooner than the models are indicating right now.

32˚F and still snowing here. A little over an inch of accumulation.

I can't remember which year it was, its been within the past couple of years, the models were complete crap, then all of the sudden a week out they started hinting, but tons of inconsistency, TONS of forum drama, then about 4-5 days out they were showing the goods....goods that went on for a good 2-3 weeks.

Here's a picture from about 3:30 PM today on Sehome Hill.

It was slippery walking on the steep dirt trails--snow on top of mud. But worth it!

I saw a bird that was either a Western towhee with an unconventional call or something semi-rare.

WWU campus was always pretty in the snow, and there aren't any students around either.  Did you walk there too?

I didn't! I just wanted to get home as quickly as possible since I was getting chilly, haha. I might head over there this evening though if I can motivate myself to go outside again!

That squall line Josh mentioned was intense. Temp dropped from 50 to 45.

Looks like the snow level is down to about 2000-2500' in the North Coast Range now.

Pretty heavy snow at this point. Decent sized flakes. Roofs are covered but everything else appears bare thus far.
