What about the south sound?

Looks fairly consistent across the models. What the models are struggling with is the northerlies coming down the south which really hasn't impacted you guys yet.

First snow of the year! Melting quick but at least a little left. Was down south picking up a new family member.

Beautiful morning in the Blue Mountains of eastern Oregon. It was 12F when I took these pics around 8:30am. Gotta get our winter fix somehow.

Major shift on the 12z EPS to lower heights over the West with rising heights in the SE compared to the 00z last night. Looking like a really fun mid month on through the Holidays. Perfect timing IMO!

Port Angeles the big winner so far!

The number of times they scored is pretty impressive.

32.4 degrees and coming down good.  It will be interesting to see if my wife has me pick her up, or if she is going to attempt it.  Just saw a tweet that they have 3.5" on H street in Blaine.

Happy Solstice, everyone! I just got back from a walk up Sehome Hill. When I started it had just changed from rain to heavy sleet, then by the time I reached the watchtower at the top of the hill it was snowing. Really cool to see the forest transform in the snow. I hope it reaches you all down south!

I'm happy some of our weather geeks up north are seeing some snow and even snowy fun. Enjoy it. It's windy down here and about to rain. 12z runs/ensembles just.... It's hard to be very encouraged. I will look forward to the dry, cold east winds though. At least there's that. Maybe I'll take a vacation.

18z Euro coming out and it appears too warm at the surface for 4PM.

Shows Seattle sitting at 52 when really they are sitting on either side of 40 per Wunderground stations.

ecmwf-deterministic-seattle-t2m_f-8595200.png

That's automatically wrong for me. It's 38 here in West Seattle. The NAM 18z said it should be 52 degrees right now.

As far as snow totals, just a hair more than the 12z in some spots.

Still picking up a southern based CZ signature for later this evening around 7PM.

Next, need to take a look at how the temps in the upper levels compare to actual readings from the 4PM update of SPC mesoanalysis.
