Up on a hill near Cedar Hill Golf Course (~270ft asl). It should be switching over at lower elevation soon too though, it's almost down to freezing here.

Went from dry to absolutely pouring here in Everett a few minutes ago. Appears the leading edge of the cold front is really starting to organize along Puget Sound the last 30 minutes or so.

Wind switched to from S to WNW at KPAE in the last hour and the temp started dropping.

Walked outside in Auburn and felt very springish. Had a warm breeze greet me outside the door. Almost mistaken the day for April not December

Down to 33.4 at the house on Orcas. 1.7" of precip and climbing. Rain/snow mix currently but starting so accumulate some slush.

I've got to think the conditions here bode well for places like Everett that are east of here. The temperature has fallen down the the freezing mark now with large snowflakes falling and covering the road. When the low shifts inland this airmass is coming your way.

SPC mesoanalysis suggests a little bit of a southeast jog with the low. Maybe an Olympics lasso effect.

winds due westerly at the i5 i405 interchange

 

Furthermore a 10 degree spread between PAE and that interchange. 45 vs 55 ... it is only 5 miles away. WOW!

Would have been a pretty epic snowstorm there if there had been any cold air in place or North of this low.

Can pretty much confirm that, it's absolutely pouring here in Silverdale - temp has dropped from 51.8 to 47.1 since 12:30. Very dark outside, 1.00" of rain since midnight.

HRRR is looking more promising now for this area. Suggests maybe an inch or two between 2 and 4 p.m. (meaning probably flakes in the air). Currently 36F, but precipitation has definitely slacked off.
