Yeah the weeklies push any sort of real interesting weather back into the 2nd or 3rd week of January.

At this point, in a few weeks it will show us having a shot at something in March! Always on the horizon!

Really got to hope to at least see flakes in the air later this evening. Not sure if we will see them again.

Rough weeklies. Going to need a miracle tonight. Could be our last chance at snow for the winter

I decided to forgo the upgrade on the car and just went for another drive.  On my way up, the snow started at about Grandview, when I came back through, it was snowing heavily and there was a pretty big accident just north of the Portal Way exit....that will be the last exploration trip for me....

I turned around at Birch Bay Lynden Rd and it was close to 2" on the shoulder.  Amazing how quick it is accumulating.

I may have been quiet lately, but not much going on and I was kinda sick for a while. The yard has like no snow currently and things don't look very active in the short term.

Surprised how fast this is all happening....sticking on rooftops and the street is already slushy.  The flakes are pretty small, its not like the typical big fat huge flakes for a marginal set up.

Usually I am stuck at work with no windows, so I am not able to watch it happen.

Dry and 36F here. Most models seem to suggest I'll get another 0.5-0.75" of precipitation today, but I'm not sure I see where it's going to come from. Seems like they're not modeling the shadow appropriately.

Looks like some energy diving out into the ocean on the backside....NW tip of Van. Island??  Anybody have a surface map?
