As of today it still looks to be 2 weeks out. It’s not moving up in timing. The ECMWF is really touting it. EDIT: Just looked at the 12z ECMWF and the SSW being shown is even more epic than the 0z. Not sure where this bad info is coming from. 6 Quote Death To Warm Anomalies! You got confused because Phil showed an hour 384 map. That map did not show the beginning of the SSW event, it showed it at maturity. These events don't happen in a day.
