Tom
Ahhh, this is the type of snowfall I have been yearning for...just came back from a long stroll around the neighborhood. Gotta tell ya, the Christmas lights look a lot better with about 3" of snow on them (2.8" to be precise). The wind is gusty and coming from a direction (SE) you typically don't see during a snowfall. This stuff is very powdery and will be easy to shovel later tonight. Looks like my area was placed under a last minute WSW for N COOK...I don't think we'll get to 4" as the snowfall has winded down quite a bit. Stormy
Currently I’m getting plain zr with a bit of sleet mixed in. Thought it was basically over. South n east facing windows are glazed over. Ever since the mix began hours ago, I haven’t had much additional snow accumulation. Only an inch for a total of 6.5”. The snow is crunchy and can’t blow around now. Much better accumulation just north of me as expected. I’m happy though and was neat to experience some thunder sleet and snow.
