I was perusing a little to see how this year’s futility stacks up and found it interesting that 1992 managed to start with lows in the 30’s for first 21 out of 22 days and seven freezes at PDX. I remember a storm when I was a kid, maybe it was Dec 95 or Feb 96, that went south at the last second and missed Seattle. Seattle missed out, but scored south of Seattle.
