SEA is just about to 5 inches of rain on the month... normal for January is 5.57 inches.     Should blow past that tomorrow.

Here is a Matt-like prediction... the second half of the the month will probably be drier than the first half.

SEA has also received just about 25% of the normal annual rainfall there in the last 20 days.

The 00z GFS is the most reliably cold pattern yet. No freak show 500mb patterns that almost deliver insanity. Just a common, well-off cold snap with northerly winds down the coast.

Reminds me of January 2017, as well. Very dry, which isn't a totally bad thing.

Kind of a messy and unrealistic pattern at around 200hr. Still quite blocky.
