What's crazy is the highs in the low 50s and the lows in the low 20s. How often does that happen?

Frequently, I live pretty high. The temperature spreads are farther apart than west of the cascades. In October I have seen low 80's hours after touching upper 20's with fog.

I can have freezing lows up to mid-Spring and the average lows don't start hitting 32 until late April.

Oh yeah for sure. I was thinking down in the valley. What site is that?

The calendar you're asking? Wunderground before they made changes, had these screenshots for a few years. Now it's hard to use their pages.

SEA is already over .80 on the day before 6 a.m.

And just about to 6 inches on the month with much more rain to come in the next 24 hours.    Already well above the monthly average now.

Also saw on the SEA NWS Twitter feed that Snoqualmie Pass had 19 inches of snow in the last 24 hours.

Still snowing now.  Guessing 10 inches so far, maybe more.  Forecast was for rain.  Busted that one!

Power outages in the area, as heavy, wet snow has brought down limbs and power lines.  We had a fairly low qpf ratio, a few degrees colder and we would have had even more.

Check out the gorge influence on temperatures...mid 40s at Troutdale, low to mid 50s pretty much everywhere else.
In a snow/ice situation, this would be the difference between most areas seeing regular rain, and areas near the gorge seeing snow/freezing rain.
Also of note, the 59 mph wind at Three Corner Rock...

42 degrees for 4 hours straight. Interesting to see that.

Rain should start soon here. It's been in SW Oregon for 12-14 hours and just now progressing forward.

Hoquiam was at 10.52 inches for the month as of midnight and another 1.62 for today already... racing towards the 19+ inches they had last January which was the second wettest January ever there.

Kind of takes some of the fun out of it.

I was switching from snow event to rain to snow and back to rain multiple times in Feb 2019. It snowed nearly 3 feet but my max depth was 9.5" ;)

I guess you won't like winters in K-Falls.

Probably not. If I was gonna live in the mountains I’d pick somewhere that had a snowy climate

In the 90's we've had 24-30" depths, drifts like 40 or so. If I wait long enough I might see it again.

Definitely some potential for a windy Willamette Valley, but the NWS is not aboard. Regardless, Andrew's power probably will cut out soon, unfortunately.
