Joey, do you ever hang around the gymnasium?

Have you ever seen a grown man naked?

Sure would be the grand irony of a post-SSW world if Andrew’s AL/ridge/onshore flow progression ended up being the big winner to wrap up January.

Heads would explode. I’m still tantalized by February possibilities. I wouldn’t write it off yet!

Yeah it’s kind of ridiculous this year. We typically lose power 2-4 times in a winter. We are approaching a total of 2 weeks without power since Labor Day. Of course because of the fire they couldn’t even get in here and fix the lines for almost a week, that one was 8 days total. Most of the other have been 12-24 hours. One was about a day and a half, so we will pass that one. When I moved up here the first thing long time residents told me was to be ready for power outages.

Exactly what happened with me, I met one of our neighbors about a month after moving in and one of the first things he said was to be ready for long power outages, and that he finally went with a diesel generator since the gassers kept wearing out. I’m still on the gasser the previous owners left, trying to keep it in tip top shape.

Elevation 580’ Location a few miles east of I-5 on the Snohomish Co side of the Snohomish/Skagit border. I love snow/cold AND sun/warmth!

I've noticed that the GEM tends to build these stubby orb blocks. Real funny looking.

GEFS is unfazed by its drunk operational cousin, if not the best run of the day.

I'm going to guess early and say the Euro will be better than the OP GFS. More amplified with west coast ridging and less messy with Pacific troughing at hour 72. We'll find out if I'm right soon enough.

Warm pool has really retracted of late. Tightly consolidated over the maritime continent. IO has cooled, and the PMM has trended negative. All good omens for a low frequency regime shift to more -PNA for 2021.
