Speaking of ENSO... the models seems to indicate a return to neutral over the next few months,

I think it is pretty normal for it to return to neutral, even in the middle of a multi year Nina.

Yeah... not making a prediction about next winter.

Looks like a little more cold air to work with on the 18z if we can get that low to help out might turn out ok

Yea looking a degree or two colder. We need every degree in a situation like this.

Doesn't look like 18z is going to be as good in the long range.

Reverts to past runs where the trough axis is a bit to far offshore.

Today is one of those days the fog didn’t burned off and is still lingering also 39 degrees.

Medford is in fact one of the foggiest cities in the Pacific Northwest, simply because your area gets so many inversions in the winter.

It's called clown range for a reason.

You should do alright for a few days if this verified.  It looks like it evolves into total craziness late in the run with quite warm temps with a southwesterly flow.

Yeah, the 12z had that trough mid/late week dropping right over the PNW, this run it stays offshore and just pumps moisture onshore. Looks like after a day or two snow levels drop at least below pass levels.

Insane. I've been in 30 below and it feels cold water rushing in through any zipper on the clothing.

My lowest experienced is -15F while in Moses Lake once. It was chilly.

38.6°F currently after a high of 42°F at midnight.

Weather station is up and running, looking forward to watching temps drop this week. Temp estimates from apps all suggest it’s 41°F to 43°F up here currently, so excited to have more accurate temps (cooler) for my property!

You are so tucked back in the dark there... I imagine its always cooler there than all of the surrounding stations.   Its 43 in North Bend right now.

Only up to about 40 here today. Going to finally feel like winter. Looking at the models, I will either miss a lot of rain or a lot of snow next week.
