That was a great storm in 2008 for people in the Clearview area. They received 10-12" of snow during that April event.  I picked up my current dog as a puppy that day in Bothell and there was just some slushy snow on the ground.

When i went to bed last night Winter was cancelled, no quitsies, no tagbacks, no startsies, double-stamped, touch blue make it true. Now its....back on? Like nothing happened? what is going on!??!?!

Overnight and morning models trended a bit better. And I think Andrew has been sleeping.

I have felt pretty good about things for a while now.  Just busy last night.  This phase 7 MJO wave that is emerging is very encouraging.  I'm really impressed how much colder the middle of next week has trended.  Almost legit.

This is somewhat like 1954-55.  First year Nina, lousy first half of winter, and then sustained moderately chilly weather emerged.  After that we had the big blast in early March, but the timing on this is a few weeks earlier.

Just to be sure, you are only judging these runs based on whether they bring snow to your yard, right? Even if the overall pattern looks to have more potential.

Really depends on where you live. In favored locations or above 500ft there will be many chances for snow.
