It must be super light with the precip like the GFS. Why does this have so much less than the other map posted?

Looks like about the same amount of precip as the 12Z run... just a tad warmer.

Wouldn't take much for the Puget Sound to add four inches to that also. Hour 300-340 have cold rain for parts of Puget Sound but snow for Mossman and company. This is all speculative and 300+ hours out

What?    Are you sure?

Hard to complain when you see things getting colder sooner. Although it would be nice to get the EPS on our side.

I will be very surprised if the EPS doesn't improve tonight.

The chunky stuff that fell earlier is now frozen solid! Official warning shot!
Oh and I threw all of my forks in that garbage can...I’m not forking anything just yet!

That looks like frozen vomit.  35 after a high of 42.

Euro is a lot better than the GFS in the believable range.

I don't know why anyone would even bother post anything other than the Euro at this point.

Anyway, for those of you who keep insisting that winter isn't canceled or are just here to troll our avid tomato gardeners of of the Cascadian foothills with highly inaccurate low resolution models, please make sure that you are saving them and uploading them as a file. Kind of makes it hard to do a retrospective when someone else has taken the time to save the images of all of the warm EPS runs and bare and wet traffic cams while your Pepto and Barney purple maps are lost to the sands of time.

I was actually going to mention that after Randy got me looking through the January 2019 topic... most of the map images were gone which made it harder to see how the models evolved.     I save and upload now but back then I was hosting and then linking the URL.   Not sure if hosted images expire but I assume they do at some point.

Yeah, anything remote link is going to expire unless you are sharing it from a site that deep links their models and has a generous retention policy. Seeing how block storage is apparently expensive when you run a popular model site, they expire after a month or so. I am more than happy to make sure there isn't any serious restriction on file uploads, so I encourage people to save and upload.

If anyone is running out of space or having issues with saving model images, let me know.

Its much easier now after the upgrade.

Pretty funny reading January 2019. You'd almost think it was the January 21 thread.

Easy to forget how pathetically lame that Winter was until February.

Yes indeedy!  Big improvement on the EPS.  Way higher GOA heights and the control looks just like the last few GFS runs.

And then Feb and early March was epic.  That Feb was pretty easily one of the top 5 of the past 120 years.
