Honestly,I’ll be satiated with a few flakes or momentary mix here in Gladstone.  I like living here (no sad face necessary), but when it hears the phrase “marginal event,” this area has a notorious habit of immediately getting in the fetal position to take its cold rain beating.  Not a snow lover’s dreamscape, even by a realistic PNW lowlander’s standards.

Used to live near there when I was in my 20s.  I understand your pain :(

Pretty cool to see a surprise today considering how this winter has gone so far. Hopefully we get a surprise up north at some point this week too.

36/27 spread. Very light and windswept. The cold and dry air is going to put up a good fight here but that's good news for west siders.

The dry advection was definitely a little more robust with this.  Pretty breezy here which is always a good indication of pretty dry conditions well into the mid levels.  Nice thing is flake survival is strong to the surface!

It is really windy out there and the snow makes for some low visibility.

Still snowing at your place? It’s back to rain over on the east side.

It is still mostly snow, but some rain is mixing in. The precip is much lighter now though. Temp on my thermometer is a hair under 35.
