DP/2m Temp conversion in Tacoma signaling a moistening profile. This is why flurries are being reported there.

Probably going to be rain soon. Was nice seeing some snow for about an hour!

Pretty crazy snowfall pattern.  Elevations around 300ft on Sunnyside Rd near Town Center had almost an inch of snow when I drove through around 4pm.  I found snow as low as 250ft (albeit a trace) near Eagle Creek.  Zero snow in Estacada (in town) at 450ft.  Further towards the foothills, only a slight dusting at 1,200ft.  I think some of it had to do with precip rates as it seemed less as I headed east.  All areas had decent east wind outflow with temps hovering between 32-33f so that didn't seem to be a factor.  Obviously as you headed west, there was more snow.  650ft between Damascus and Boring had about 2".

41 and nothing but wind here in Renton. DP at 15. Wind blustery out of E about 15

East wind is maybe 2-5mph here. Never got too strong today probably why we’ve done better with precipitation so far. Hoping it can cool off a few degrees...still more precipitation coming in too.

According to my wife we ended up with 2.3” today. Probably it for the event, as temps up there are in the mid-30s now. Airmass cools again overnight, but moisture  will be sparse. We’ve now passed 2014-15’s seasonal total.

Really impressed to see a widespread 2-4" today across the mid-valley west of I-5. That matched the more optimistic model output.

Nothing much to report here, light rain and up to 40 now. I drove out to the gorge and did a super quick hike up Hamilton Mt. late this afternoon. About 8" up there at the summit and it probably snowed about 1.5" on my hike with sticking snow making it down to about 300'. Cape Horn also had about an inch with heavy snow on the way back.

Do you think it was snowing at your place at any point today? We definitely had 2-3 hours of snow here, and it started trying to stick for a half hour or so before the changeover.

Thats good, looks like we’ve still got a decent amount of precip coming in from the south. Hopefully it can cool off a bit and start sticking more places.

If the flakes were bigger I'd have called this a blizzard.

Still not a measurable amount. Snow rates have been near zero.
