I think it will get cold here.

50/50 on PNW at this point.

Yeah... decent chance there are some eastward shifts ahead as well.

Or it could just end up dry and cold.

Or all the pieces could come together perfectly!

Hope you and Kayla are ready for this.

What should they do to prepare?   ;)

Kayla has had ridiculous cold over the last 3 years.   She is used to it.

50/50 odds for the PNW to get cold are not bad.

Bummer that January failed to deliver significant cold, yet again. How due can you get?

Cold and dry is probably the best bet, but as I said the other day, just because the first one or two cold airmasses drop east doesn't mean there won't be something later in the month. What the GEM shows isn't a major arctic blast, but would be exciting!

Out to hour 186 there is a slight westward shift on the GEFS. Baby steps.

My weather station says it should be snowing right now,  that piece of $hit is as worthless as any model run outside of 3 days.

Mine shows raindrops.

Elevation 580’ Location a few miles east of I-5 on the Snohomish Co side of the Snohomish/Skagit border. I love snow/cold AND sun/warmth!

I have decided I will not emotionally invest in this until Rob says I can watch the event unfold in real time on the WV loop.

Lurking was so passive but now we’re in quarantine. Pretty sure that made the difference 😂. You and Jim are the reason I read this stuff. Polar opposites but totally rational. #LurkLess
