Some pics on the way up to my property.  The ones on the road are 1/4 mile down the road and the gate is the beginning of my 120 acre land.

No idea this was going to happen today! Mcminnville

KRTX radar is stuck on clear air mode on radarscope for some reason, which is not all that helpful at the moment.

Still snowing at your place? It’s back to rain over on the east side.

Looks like most of the sticking snow is west  of I 5, even in Salem this is apparent per cams. At the valley floor that is. 2.5” new at my place.

It’s pretty nice to see snow falling and sticking anywhere in the lowlands in late January. Been awhile.

It is still mostly snow, but some rain is mixing in. The precip is much lighter now though. Temp on my thermometer is a hair under 35.

What do you think hour 385 of the 18z looks like Andrew?

It’s a bit brisky with the E wind here... 11-12mph with 20mph gusts. DP of 21, so the airmass is quite dry. A combination of these could keep the moisture at bay for the Sound. Which may be the case according to the models.

NWS Seattle sticking to a non event solution with PM discussion.

Probably will be a non-event for almost everyone east of the sound. OLM to Kitsap Peninsula and further west could do well, though.

If the models are to be believed I got about 2 hours of better dynamics to break out of this mostly rain mix with the best between 4-5.

I'm in the same area. We're getting dumped on, but it's just too warm right now for it to stick.

A couple years ago we stayed the Embassy Suites in Tigard as our base for exploring the wine country from Newberg down past McMinnville.   We also went to the Evergreen Aviation and Space Museum and took my daughter to the adjacent water park there.   We loved that entire area.

On that trip we went bowling one night in Sherwood.     I think it was Langers... really cool place.

We drove through McMinnville a few years ago on our way to and our way back from a baseball tournament.  I think we stopped at Dairy Queen.

Just a non-sticking mix so far for my brother in Albany.

Looks like a dusting near Millersburg, nothing further south. Was talking to someone on FB who lives in stayton. Said there was snow all the way from Salem until he got to Stayton and then just rain.
