I'm convinced this was the BEST bat ever.

Also, a pic of me in my Phillies uniform, for proof.

We had a large population of Hawaiian students on campus and several good players on our team.  There were good Hawaiian players scattered throughout the NWL.  I don't think Kolten will come to the M's.  He's a contact hitter but zero power.  He'd compete with France as long as we keep Kyle.  He's a vacuum cleaner on D though.  Pretty much would have an all golden glove infield.

He’s gotten MUCH better at fielding but the dude is a head case. Very arrogant and streaky. Obviously an amazing player though. I also think I’d rather have Dee or someone else in the clubhouse

NWAAC was definitely a pitchers league. Then when I played at Oklahoma Wesleyan it was kind of the opposite. We had a guy hit 27 home runs in a season a few years after I graduated. We were like a .500 team when I was there, but they have made a couple trips to the NAIA WS in Lewiston the past decade.

Uh yeah, weather! February has been good in recent years!

Okay, back to baseball...our coach at Bellevue had a good relationship with Hawaii. I signed with NNU in Fall before my sophomore season, but I know Hawaii had inquired about me after the season was under way and I was doing really well. I was really not good as a freshman, red-shirted my second year, and then was the #1/2 starter as a sophomore.

Were you a position player?

Yeah Mike Trapasso would always look at Bellevue and So Cal first for recruiting. And that’s awesome man! I kinda wish I redshirted actually so I could have elevated my physical presence haha. And yes, I was a lead off hitter/corner outfielder

I'd be game!

Also, yeah, we've hijacked this thread. But we're between model runs, so it's okay?

Fred, should we get our own room?

M's didn't pick up Gordon's contract.  He's a free agent.  Doubt they'll bring him back but they could.  He'll test the market.  I think they really want to see what France can do.  He's a hitter!  If Seager goes France would most likely go to 3rd unless they trade to bring someone in for either  spot.  That's my guess anyway.

In only if it's a 70 and older league.  Need oxygen, life support and a paramedic present at all times.  Can I bring my boat though?  It's my support animal.

Ok back to weather.  I've seen this forum take some crazy detours.  This one is full of love.  It was a wonderful walk down a path some of us dearly love.

Definitely better than 95% of the detours this forum takes.

18z GFS looks improved so far. Ridge slightly further west, and maturing a lot better. Canadian PV placement also more favorable, though the block is still far too east, so any cold will likely slide into Montana, unless something weird happens.

That’s front door, but like when the J-dubs show up, no one wants to answer it.  We just end up with a nice informative pamphlet dropped at the entrance to the Fraser River Valley.

Insane amount of cold air in Western Canada, but the block gets undercut which prevents it from pushing much South if the border.

This is the kind of pattern you could thread the needle into a major snowstorm, but it would take quite a seamstress.

I feel like Sheridan was sort of good my Junior year, I think they may have even beaten us in a non conference game. We played Willamina that year too and won 9-1, I only had 9 K’s in that game.

I’m also ambidextrous! Never hit right handed but played outfield right handed when I dislocated my left shoulder lol. It seems like a lot of weather nerds (like myself) are left handed or ambidextrous... I’d love to see that study 😂
