If anyone wants to move down the road from me there is a new small development going in. Good lord these prices are insane! We bought our place not even 3yrs ago for several hundred thousand less than these places that are the same size as our house and several less acres of land than ours....And I don’t have to look at any neighbors like those places...Just crazy!

Wow. I was looking at the foothills of the Sierras and if you go like an hour east of Fresno you can get some nice acreage right by the national forest with a decent house on it for about half of what these houses are.

Loved taking my yearly trip to the little off the grid cabin above Banks lake that I would rent. Nothing but lanterns, and a star filled sky...Then exploring the water by day!

I have never understood getting a place way out away from the city just to be in a development crammed by other houses and no land.  Oh and paying alot of money for it.

Reminds me of driving through Montana and you see so many beautiful homes smack up against the freeway... literally.    Constant noise and people flying by at 80 mph with nothing but empty land and quiet for miles in every direction.   And they chose to build a mansion within 50 feet of the freeway.

Might as well be living in the city and gaining the benefits of the city.  We have stayed in the city because we love all the things to do with the kids around the city but we can totally see why folks would want to move out and get some property away from the city.  If we didn’t have a nice creek and waking access to large old growth woods and trails and the Puget sound waters/beaches with sunsets across the sound and Olympics, we would probably sell our house and move out to the mountains along I90 somewhere.

The older homes that were built before the freeway was one can understand, but many of them are only a few years old. Never made sense to me, either.

It's called clown range for a reason.

Yeah... I feel bad for the people in the homes that were obviously built long before the freeway.

I know I saw 5.3 inches of melted snow today.

You could have been dreaming... no way of knowing for sure.    Maybe life is just a computer simulation.   Noone knows.

Snow on Tuesday afternoon and evening per the 00Z ECMWF... this is more than the 12Z run.

Nice to see improvements for something that is just 2 days out. Would we nice if we could get a bit more juice out of that system and we could magically snow cover the gorge before this comes in.

Today was quite decent, hoping I'll see perhaps a dusting or so on Tuesday.
