Well, may need to change my location shortly. A surprise listing in Gold Bar made us throw together an offer at the last minute. Prices are astronomical...even with my comfortable salary this will be a pain. Hopefully the offer will be submitted by the deadline tomorrow...we're actually waving inspection and going $40k over the asking price.

Why couldn't I be in position to buy 4 years ago smh.

At least I should get more snow in Gold Bar if we win out on the bid...

Where do you currently live?

Elevation 580’ Location a few miles east of I-5 on the Snohomish Co side of the Snohomish/Skagit border. I love snow/cold AND sun/warmth!

I know it was discussed... but here is the full 00Z EPS run.    A pretty clear retrogression signal at the end.    Justin might be right with his mid-February call.

Gfs wasn’t too promising

Yeah... the 12Z GFS was not nearly as good as the ECMWF for the event tomorrow into Wednesday morning.    But its always better to have the ECMWF on your side for surface details.

Must be minor... radar does not show anything and traffic is not impacted.

Here is the morning update for Snoqualmie Summit...

January 25, 2021: Good morning! We've gotten 3" - 4" new over the last 24 hours which should significantly improve riding conditions, especially on the main runs and groomers. The new snow is very light so expect to readily find the bottom and use caution venturing into the off-piste. Forecast calls for partly cloudy skies so it should be a beautiful day with new snow and nice weather. Silver Fir and all of Central will be open today. Have fun and see you out there! --Ryan

First run past 200 hours i have looked at in a long time and this 12z run goes nut's in the clown range. Going to be a another cold Feb.

I wouldn't say it goes nuts... arctic air is still north of the border at 384 hours and not really moving south.

I agree though that February has a decent chance of being cold and maybe snowy.

just took a quick look cause no one was talking about it. it seems great in the LR. surprising consistency out  near the end of the run.

Temps don't get below 33-34 in most areas.

Yeah was going to edit that. It goes to a really good spot and has true arctic air at the border. I believe this will be another great Feb.

But offshore flow and lower dewpoints will be in your favor tomorrow afternoon and evening...

Yes... its shows some continental air but its not really that crazy at the surface at that time.   I am just saying that we have seen the GFS go much more "nuts" in the long term.

I went for a walk behind my house yesterday and i could look up the ridge of gold mountain at about 800-1000 feet elevation and it was just flocked with snow. 2-300 feet above me it was winter!!

I think your area might do well again tomorrow night and Wednesday morning with upslope and cold air damming with strong easterly flow.

The snow level looks to be about 500feet lower Tomorrow night so there should be some sticking snow for many places. Thickness looks to be about 1300m or so.

Here is the 12Z GFS for Wednesday morning... EPSL is basically dry with offshore flow but its a different story over there with upslope against the Olympics.   Also shows decent upslope against the east side of the Cascades.
