It shows this band basically stalling West of the Sound till around Midnight and then pushing Northeast through Seattle/Everett.

Better the precip fall overnight with temps bottomed out than at 4pm.

HRRRRRRRR on the other hand is just a complete bust for me by like 3 miles which is a pretty good bet considering the post 2017 luck here

Looks like the east wind is starting to crank up in the stampede gap. No east wind here yet.

Low elevation areas in the coast range do better than places at the same elevation in the valley. Staley's Jn west of Portland is only ~200 ft but often has snow when there is nothing just a few miles east. 

Coast range also protects those appears somewhat from south winds in onshore events.

Got a good easterly breeze through Chehalis Gap right now here, this is usually a good setup for snow here, am concerned the precip is arriving early though.

It’s definitely a little ahead of schedule. Might last long enough into the evening to end up as snow after dark though. Not going to have much eastward movement throughout the day. Looks like the temps in your area are mid 30s.

Anybody know a site that posts snow totals in Olympic locations??  I would imagine they have had a ton this year?  Is Hurricane Ridge the only reporting station there?

Ya, we have a 36/30 spread right now, had a high of 38 so temp is dropping.  Could be interesting.
