Last year the gradients were suppose to drive the cold air out of the Frazier but the winds never hit what was advertised and the modified air kind of stalled out around Everett. So even the day of its a toss up sometimes.

Popular Post VancouverIslandSouth
Wow, I completely missed how snowy it's been in the Eastern Fraser Valley around Hope today. This is around 240ft asl over there. It's surprising how quickly it cooled down out there, never hurts to have early snow cover in the key outflow zones: 10 1

Perturbed Member
I'll gladly take that ICON instead of a low racing north and wiping out the cold. Hopefully 00z GFS will hold firm or suppress things a bit further. Probably wishful thinking but clearly the models are still all over the place. Will disregard the disgusting 00z NAM since no one should really trust the NAM at 84 hrs.
