This goes to show us that when models show an aggressive push of arctic air in the Day 4-6 time frame to never buy into that and wait until we're within Day 3(now).

That has long been my standard policy. Just been burned too many times in the past by rug pulls.

It's called clown range for a reason.

Last year the gradients were suppose to drive the cold air out of the Frazier but the winds never hit what was advertised and the modified air kind of stalled out around Everett. So even the day of its a toss up sometimes.

Handful of IP addresses on Comcast were blocked automatically because of a DDoS. If you can’t access the site, use your phone. It will take a day or so for me to fix this.

Still working on my PC. Thank you for letting us all know.

We have Xfinity.   Does not connect on my computer.   Did not connect on my phone until I disconnected from our wifi and now it works.

Heights are slightly depressed on the 0z NAM v 18z.  No clear northward trend emerging.  Looks like the low will track south of Seattle at least.  Looks like a snowy day Thursday.

The ICON at hour 108 looks way better than the 18z which was terrible compared to earlier runs.  Good trend in the home stretch?

I'll gladly take that ICON instead of a low racing north and wiping out the cold.

Hopefully 00z GFS will hold firm or suppress things a bit further. Probably wishful thinking but clearly the models are still all over the place. Will disregard the disgusting 00z NAM since no one should really trust the NAM at 84 hrs.
