Weekend storm is also way South. Heading for Northern California looks like. Cold air dominating and suppressing the jet like crazy this run.

Wow. 500mb contours in AB/BC are digging back to the west as more arctic air is funneled towards us.

Good thing the GFS is lost. This suppression is a bit too much. The only saving grace this run was the Arctic front and c-zones.

Welp, I'm about to see a whole lot of -10F snowfall I guess. Nothing like 50:1 snow ratios!

Currently 2F here with heavy snowfall.

Jaw dropping pattern in a lot of ways.  Nice to see there's a good shot at snow going into it.  Might get some serious blowing snow when the wind sets in.

If you can get some snow, blowing snow is a very good possibility. I hope I can muster a few inches to get some blowing and drifting.
