Portland AFD said definitely snow down to 1000' overnight maybe lower in heavier showers???  You are around 1500' are you not?

Somewhat similar to the trough at the start of last February. Bit warmer though.

Perhaps we'll see some slightly milder snow this mid March.

Definitely a score IMO just from looking at WV loop.  My biggest issue will be precip making it here. I will probably have to wait until the decaying low center slides south.

No way to tell what’s going on with the models past a few days out...but I’m guessing things will dry out a bit soon. One thing this La Niña has delivered for western WA is plenty of rain.

Well since my most recent post the temp went from 41 to 33 and we now have a dusting of snow. So we probably won't have any problems getting snow to accumulate...

Only 39 here. If any heavy showers pass through, it could get interesting later on. No way it amounts to anything, but would be nice to see some flakes in the air.

hit 3" total for the storm last night, and another .46" since midnight.  Currently 39 after being 44-47 most of the last few days

THE RAIN HAS STOPPED AFTER 4 or so straight days! 
Currently 38 degrees.

.53” on the day, 1.29” for the month, 9.01” for the year.

Straight up incompetence nobody has posted the 18z EPS yet. Borderline arctic blast into PNW region.

A very crappy day out. Just nasty at the moment. Cold, windy rain. I did get some excitement for a few minutes when I noticed some positive splat tests earlier. It turned out to be a hail storm that had just started going. It wasn't like Tyler's, but still the best hail I've seen all winter. Hope that a few members get some flakes tonight.

Old news... that is the exact same thing that the 12Z ECMWF showed.

Just give it a few days. Most people aren't ready for anything to track and are waiting until 72 hours before getting even close to interested.

Today was actually fairly nice for most of the day. Thought maybe I would be able to break away from work for an hour or two and get some yardwork done. Unfortunately things got busy and that did not happen.

Do you like remote work and being able to sneak outside and get yard work done during breaks... or do you still miss going to the office and the commute?    I remember you weren't a fan of remote work at the start of the pandemic.

I like remote work a lot more than I had previously. The terrible connectivity of satellite internet has been a challenge, and that was one of my main points of frustration. However, I have discovered I get perfect cell reception at the state park 5 minutes away, so I can go there for meetings, even plug in my laptop in the picnic shelters if need be, and use the hotspot on my phone for wifi. Works really well. 

The biggest issue was the disconnect I felt from everyone, but at this point that is pretty unavoidable. I will probably continue remote work at least on a part time basis even if this pandemic ever ends. I would hope not to go back to the office more than 1-2 days a week if possible.

Nowhere has it for free. I only get 00z and 12z EPS and usually later than normal.
